Some words about my work:

“In 2023, I had the opportunity to travel from Argentina to the US and get to know the city of Chicago. I photographed it, I walked for miles on its streets, I saw it from the tallest buildings and the underground roads as I endeavored to experience it fully. I could glimpse fragments of a crystal-clear sky, with perfect clouds, through the geometries of the buildings. It was absolute nature, immune to humankind and our dream of duality in which we believe ourselves to be something or someone apart from nature, destined to control and exploit it. As I walked through Chicago looking for the spark that would ignite my pictorial engine, I came to a conclusion: the only place common amongst all cities of the world, a place wild in nature and impossible to be modifed in any way, is the sky. The paintings that followed harbored hope in windows of sky silhouetted with vibrant blue and impeccably white clouds. Abstract cutouts of sunsets began to wedge themselves between the man-made masses of cement. The constructs of our ambitions appeared to me in disparate colors, while fragments of the city fell from the ground in a dream and began to float among stormy evening skies.           They are the memory of what I discovered in Chicago and will never be able to forget. They are testimonies that we are infnitely more than we think we are. We are one city, but also the whole Universe”
