RECOVERING MEMORY

Solo show in New York, at the Art Gallery of the Consulate General of Argentina

On June 6th was opened my first solo show in New York, at the Art Gallery of the Consulate General of Argentina. Curated by Elio Kapszuk and with the production of AMIA Arte y Producción, this body of work commemorates the lifes of the 85 fatal victims of the most deadliest terrorist attack that Argentina suffered in it’s history. It was 30 years ago, but It still remains without justice.                              RECOVERING MEMORY (Life portraits) has the intention of making focus in those victims lifes, because I’m convinced that only focusing in love we can defeat hate and division. We must recognize ourselves in them. We must remember that this was a crime against all the humanity, as every crime that happens is. We must never forget and still claiming for justice, but also, I truly beleive that the only way to move forward is to realize that we are all one humanity, connected in our deepest escence in love and, in that sense, any kind of difference doesn’t matter. That hate and division only creates sorrow and ABSOLUTELY NEVER the solution is the violence. I hope my work helps in creating consciousness about the innegable importance of taking care and being concious of the time that we have in earth. We are in the extreme urgence of using our time to join our lifes and experiences against death and fear.                    Thank you, Consulate General of Argentina, for receiving this exhibition and to Amia for doing this possible.
